“For from Zion the Torah will come forth, and Isaiah 2:3the word of G-d from Jerusalem”
Ari Abramowitz and Jeremy Gimpel, soldier and commander in the IDF reserves, are the founders and directors of Ohr Olam The Center for Biblical Zionism. In cooperation with Ohr Torah Stone and Rabbi Shlomo Riskin chief Rabbi of Efrat, Ohr Olam is an organization dedicated to inspiring the world, ingathering the exiles, and empowering the Jewish people.
Ari & Jeremy are internationally recognized lecturers and columnists. In addition to hosting Israel National Radio's popular show, "A Light unto the Nations", they are the creators of the "Life in Israel Internship Program." Slated to bring over one hundred Jewish college students to Israel this summer from English speaking countries, the program will strengthen their connection to Israel and lay the groundwork for their eventual Aliyah.
Gimpel and Abramowitz now co-host "Tuesday Night Live in Jerusalem", the first ever Israel based Jewish TV show broadcast to the world. With a gathering of over 500 people in Jerusalem on Tuesday nights, TNL celebrates the wonders of Israel, the beauty of Judaism, and the experience of life in Jerusalem and offers anyone around the globe the opportunity of plugging into the heart and soul of Jerusalem every Tuesday Night.
The Nation of Israel is under assault. As the Muslim world is uniting in its pursuit of global domination, nations who were once called friends are taking the path of appeasement and turning their backs on Israel. While diplomatic isolation and academic boycotts are plaguing the Jewish State, international media is blaming Zionism for the lack of world peace. With a clear and uncompromising vision, the ICBZ is committed to advocating for the Jewish State and instilling a comprehensive understanding of modern day Israel through the prism of Jewish history and Biblical values. Only by strengthening the intellectual and spiritual connection of people around the world to the land of Israel can we emerge from this battle victorious.
Unlike battles of the past, today we are faced with a war of ideas. Rising to the challenge, the ICBZ is empowering and uniting people through the message of Biblical Zionism. While groups from around the world are coming to Israel to learn at the center, the ICBZ is sending out teachers and emissaries on international lecture tours to educate both Jewish and Christian communities. In addition to hosting "A Light unto the Nations", the most popular show on Israel National Radio, Ari & Jeremy are also featured columnists for the Jerusalem Post, Arutz Sheva and other publications.
The ICBZ is forming the alliance by educating all lovers of Zion about their Jewish heritage, spiritual roots, and common Biblical values. Based on the Biblical roots of Zionism, the coalition will stand strong, resolute, and united for Israel as it says:
"Many Nations will join themselves to Hashem on that day, and they will become a people to me; and I will dwell in your midst." (Zachariah, 2:15)
